5 Dates & deadlines
5.1 Conferences
Conference presentations are a great way to disseminate our findings and engage with the larger research community. All lab members are expected to submit their work for conference presentations, and I aim to fund conference travel for all lab members who are accepted as presenters, at least once. This table has some of the main conferences you might consider submitting to. Talk to Alton if you are interested.
5.2 Fellowships & Scholarships
We are prepared to fully fund all lab members to whom we make an offer without external funding. However, lab members are still expected to apply for fellowship funding. Writing fellowship applications is a great way to clarify your goals and research plans. If you’re successful, you get a major boost on your CV while allowing the lab to re-allocate funds to extending our research program.
